Models and measurements on the ALLEGRO PCB prototype designed at IJCLab

Résumé

A prototype multilayer printed circuit board, featuring the main characteristics necessary for a high granularity liquid argon sampling calorimeter, has been produced and tested for signal propagation. The board, of size limited to 3 adjacent towers, corresponds otherwise to the FCC-ee Allegro barrel detector concept. When injecting a triangular signal, direct and crosstalk signals, filtered numerically with a range of shaping times between 20 ns and 200 ns, have been recorded and successfully compared to simulations.
