A new finite-range effective interaction for atomic nuclei and neutron stars
Résumé
We present a new Gogny-type finite-range effective interaction derived from the analysis of infinite matter and atomic nuclei properties and containing 3 Gaussian form factors in the central term. In particular, we provide a simple way to obtain a physical interpretation of the 3 ranges of the interaction and show how the inclusion of the additional range adjusted to reproduce the one-pion exchange potential leads to a remarkable improvement of (S, T) channels or some infinite matter properties relevant for astrophysical calculations while keeping a good precision for nuclei calculation. It will be also shown, using the formalism presented in [1] that the interaction is free from finite-size instabilities.
