New measurements for Proton and Deuteron Beam Monitor Reactions
Résumé
Beam monitor reactions are of great interest for many applications in the field of nuclear physics experiments. Their well-known excitation functions permit to access the new desired values, via a relative calculation, making the experimental procedure easier. In 2001, a first Coordinated Research Project (CRP) has been launched to standardized values for some dedicated reactions like natTi(p,x)48V. In 2012, the IAEA has initiated a new CRP to expand the data base of monitor reactions. In this framework, we have performed new cross section measurements induced by deuteron and proton beams at the ARRONAX cyclotron (France)
